- Hermosa Beach Certified Farmer's Market The HB Farmers Market takes place every Friday from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM on Valley Drive between 10th and 8th Steets. By purchasing from a local vendor, you're not only getting fresher food but you are reducing your family's carbon footprint by eliminating the energy used to truck food in from faraway places, as well as the need for packing materials.

- Hermosa Beach Community Garden The Hermosa Beach Community Garden will be located at South Park 425 Valley Drive (at the intersection of 4th Street and Valley Drive) in Hermosa Beach. There is currently (12/2011) a demonstration garden located on the east end of the existing roller hockey rink.
